I hope everyone had a great 4th of July.
I know I did. I got pretty beaten
in the process but it was all in good fun.

We had loads of family and friends over
for a party. I mainly played with the kids.
It made me feel like a young'n again.
We played 3 person jump rope, hulahooped,
played horseshoes, washers, and badminton.
We also road 4 wheelers, I showed my little cousin
how to skateboard a bit, drew with chalk
which after the grownups got drunk started drawing
profanity and non kid friendly images,lol and then played with
our new barn cats and pigs.
Some of the boys left for a
car race which left me in charge of
lighting the fireworks off. We had so many,
a lot that they quit making and are
impossible to buy. We had pretty much everything and anything you could think of. Anywho, onto my pain story. I decided to light off 2 of these jumbo rocket things at the same time. I honestly I have not a clue what they were but lit them anyway. These things were huge and the wicks were so small it was so hard to light. I tried lighting them off at the same time and one went up but the other hadnt so I went up to light it. And as soon as I got up to it and grabbed it, the wick started lighting on its own and I thought oh ****. I dropped it and ran and in the process twisted my ankle and fell. The rocket blew up on the ground right next to me and I had to cover my face and just huddle to the ground. I laughed at first but it turns out I twisted my ankle very bad and the bottom of my left hand was burnt. That teaches me I guess to wait. Now
my hand has 3 big dark, dark red spots and are so sore. After that I called it quits and had my uncle light off the rest. After that we decided to ride up to the top of a hill and watch other fireworks from far away. It was awesome. Now Im feeling the aftermath of the burn and ankle twist and Im in pain.

Today I have to go to another graduation party but afterwards get to go to another 4th of july party. I'm off.
